Understanding Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)
A Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is an electronic form of a signature that authenticates the identity of the signer. It is issued by a certifying authority (CA) and contains encrypted data, including the user’s name, email ID, certificate validity, and the issuing authority’s details.
A DSC is widely used for:
Secure Online Transactions – Ensuring authenticity in e-filing and e-tenders.
Document Authentication – Digitally signing contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Government Filings – Filing income tax returns, GST forms, and company registration.
